Dr. Stephanie Galloway is a native of North Carolina and was born and raised in the mountains of western Carolina. She moved to Raleigh in 1990 to attend N.C. State University and continued to live and work in the greater Triangle area after graduating with a Bachelor’s of Social Work in 1994. In 2001, she decided to pursue her career in Audiology at the University of Tennessee, where Dr. Galloway received her Master’s in 2003 and her Doctorate in 2005.
For eight years, Dr. Galloway practiced in a large ear, nose, and throat group in Knoxville, Tennessee. Before opening her own practice here in Fuquay-Varina, she worked in a small private practice in Cary, NC.
Dr. Galloway feels strongly about working in the same community where she lives. This commitment, and her desire to help people with hearing loss function and hear better, was her motivation behind opening Assured Audiology & Hearing Solutions. She wants to help people in Fuquay-Varina, Holly Springs, Apex and the surrounding communities learn more about their hearing loss, so they can then make a more informed decision about their hearing care choices.
Dr. Galloway is licensed and certified in the state of North Carolina, and is active in the community of Fuquay, where she is a member of the Fuquay-Varina Chamber of Commerce and serves on the chamber’s Senior Services Council. Dr. Galloway is a certified member of the American Speech, Language & Hearing Association and a member in good standing of the American Academy of Audiology.
Dr. Galloway lives in Fuquay-Varina. She can be seen in and around her neighborhood with her two rescue dogs, Freebie and Tally. She also has two cats, Itty-Bitty and Lovey, that were rescues as well. In her spare time, she likes to read, cook, dabble in various crafts, and spend time with family and friends.
